Carlos Leal: New Climate Ambassador
Swiss actor Carlos Leal is the first ambassador for Kuoni’s “Save the Beauty” bands. Currently living in Los Angeles, Leal’s roles include the lead part in Michael Steiner’s Alpine mystery saga “Sennentuntschi”, which was selected to open the 6th Zurich Film Festival (ZFF) in 2010. Leal travels a lot for work and often flies between his new home and his original homeland. So he, together with Kuoni, offsets the CO2 emissions of the flights he takes by buying myclimate tickets. “I am particularly happy that as an ambassador and wearer of the ‘Save the Beauty’ bands, I can help spread the word about this important issue. Climate protection and sustainability are things that affect every single one of us,” said Leal during the ZFF. And Kuoni is very pleased to have found such an ideal partner as Leal. “We are proud that Carlos Leal is supporting the ‘Save the Beauty’ initiative and that he is working with us to make people more climate-aware when travelling,” says Stefan Leser, CEO of Kuoni Switzerland.
